Busted Notes is a Canadian blues rock band from Vancouver Island. Formed in 2017 in the town of Comox, BC. Brian Norman (Bass/Guitar, vocals), Lorne Taylor (Guitar/Bass, vocals), Doug Poetker (Drums). Their original music is a mix of the blues with a dash of old-school rock 'n' roll. Their covers of blues standards and popular tunes from the classic era of rock are uniquely twisted in their own style. It's hard not to tap your toes and have a good time once this band takes the stage.

"We are trying to connect with that part of people that loves the traditional blues and also rock-n-roll. We like to think of it in terms of transporting the barrelhouse tradition to the present. That is the roots and that is where we like to linger and find inspiration."
